Röyksopp & Robyn launch new video
Another act that killed it at last week’s Øya was Röyksopp & Robyn. This week the trio has released a new video for their track ‘Monument’. Their video, for the epic seven-minute opening track “Monument,” is a sci-fi themed effort about both outer space and inner space. In the clip, we see Robyn, both Röyksopp members, and a couple of interpretive dancers looking dazed and waking up on a glowing disc that’s suspended in a void.
The trio is continuing their global Do It Again Tour this week with an appearance at Pukkelpop on Aug 15th and a NYC gig at the Pier 97 on Aug 20th.

Team Me gear up for album release
1st of September sees the domestic release of Team Me’s much-awaited sophomore album ‘Blind As Night!’ (Propeller). To prime its audience, Team Me have released a set of tasters from the album, the latest being single ‘Blind As Night’.
NME has picked up on the outing writing in its review this week: “True to form, double A-side single ‘Blind As Night’ is an intriguing slab of icy, Kate Bush-esque, string-stalked prog pop, but ‘The All Time High’ is the euphoric killer, resembling The Polyphonic Spree base-jumping off an erupting Krakatoa.”
