The winners of the 2015 European Border Breakers Awards (EBBA Awards), celebrating the best new pop acts in Europe which have achieved cross-border chart success, were announced this week by European Commission and Eurosonic Noorderslag, the European music conference and showcase festival.
Alongside acts from Austria, Denmark, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and the UK, Norway’s Todd Terje took home one of the prestigious EBBA Awards. The award comes off the back of the global success of Todd Terje’s successful album ‘It’s Album Time’ and seminal tracks such as ‘Inspector Norse’ and ‘Delorean Dynamite’.
Nico & Vinz kicked off 2014 with an EBBA Awards in their hands and have since enjoyed a banner year, capped with a Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 spree this summer. We’re crossing our fingers that Todd Terje can mirror some of N&V’s achievements in 2015.
Todd Terje is also up for a People Choice Awards. Fans can cast their votes HERE.
