Ten Love Songs – Sundfør hits UK jackpot

Susanne Sundfør’s latest album ‘Ten Love Songs’ off to strong debut in the UK: The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Mojo and The Observer praise acclaimed album that’s performing strongly on the domestic market.

In its first week on the market, Susanne Sundfør’s latest outing ‘Ten Love Songs’ has racked up an truly impressive array of strong reviews.

The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Mojo and The Observer are just a few of the media outlets that have awarded Sundfør’s hailed masterpiece favourable reviews over the last few days.

Last week, The Guardian ran a 5 star album review of Sundfør’s ‘Ten Love Songs’, declaring: “Don’t miss out on this, it’s a quite brilliant album. Brilliant pop from Norwegian megastar …utterly magnificent.”

The Sunday Times Culture also ran a glowing review last week, writing: ‘“As a corrective to the Grammy’s crowning of a charisma-free cruise ship crooner as the future of blue-eyed soul, set aside such trivia and instead immerse yourself in this extraordinary new album from the Norwegian singer.”

The Sun followed suit with a raving review declaring ‘Ten Love Songs’ an album that’s “Strange and beautiful…”

On the home market, ‘Ten Love Songs’ is performing strongly, being #1 on Itunes and #2 on Spotify’s charts, and having racked up more than 300 000 streams just for Norway so far! Eight of the album’s tracks are now on the domestic Top 100-single list on Spotify.
