In addition to the panels, Music Norway’s Export Academy courses held at by:Larm will close the Tursday sessions with a US-themed seminar.

– It is very inspiring to see that Norwegian artists, songwriters, composers and producers are in demand on the world’s largest and most influential music market. The time is certainly ripe to showcase Norway as an important music provider, and this year’s US focus at by: Larm is an important part of the process leading up to Norway becoming a key pool of talent and new and exciting sounds.

We are very proud to present such a strong roster of key US music industry execs and are really looking forward to showcase what we have to offer here. We have prepared panels where the US guests get to share their knowledge and hopefully give some good advice to Norwegian industry reps that will try their luck on the US market, says Helene Dolva Broch, Project Manager of Music Norway.

Initially splitting his time equally between New York and London, he built a client base that to this day includes producers like Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, The 1975), Charlie Hugall (Florence & The Machine) and Stephen Street (Blur). In recent years he relocated permanently to the US and has started working with Norwegian electronic artist and producer Lido, New York nu-disco kings The Knocks and legendary French DJs Cassius. His parents still don’t understand what he does for a living.
