Matoma teams up with Jennifer Lopez and Jason Derulo

This week saw Matoma releasing a new track with some pretty high-profile partners: Jennifer Lopez and Jason Derulo. ‘Try Me’ is an original track written by the Norwegian DJ/producer with Derulo and Lopez, and is featured on Derulos upcoming album ‘Everything is 4’ set for a June 4th release. Matoma is also billed as a featured artist on the track, a treat normally reserved for such heavyweights as Avicii, Calvin Harris, Zedd and Norway’s Cashmere Cat.

Despite The Night – New Sondre Lerche EP

Last autumn saw Sondre Lerche releasing his latest album ‘Please’ to widespread acclaim. This week, Lerche is back with a new EP, featuring a new track plus a string of fine remixes. ‘Despite The Night’ was recorded during the ‘Please’ sessions, but not featured on the final album. Writes Ja Ja Ja on the track: ‘Lerche’s voice is, as ever, a unique delight – the combination of his nostalgic timbre with a more contemporary arrangement gives his songs a quality that’s quite unlike anyone else making music today. If this is your first encounter with the music of Sondre Lerche, then ‘Despite The Night’ is as good a place as any to start’.

New Andre Bratten EP/Mini Album

Giacinto Scelsi/herbal-tea aficionado André Bratten released a strong new EP/Mini album this week. FACT Magazine is doing a premiere of the ‘Math Ilium Ion’ EP which is out worldwide next week on LP, CD and digital.
