“Don’t Worry” takes Madcon to new heights

“Don’t Worry” has become Madcon’s biggest radio single ever in Germany.

Following 2013’s album ‘Icon’ Madcon is back with new music. First out is ‘Don’t Worry’ which quickly became a European favorite, especially in Germany where it has seen tremendous response. The song is now entering its 16th consecutive week on the Airplay Top 100, where it debuted at #85 before climbing and eventually spend five weeks at #1. According to radio tracking service Music DNA, Don’t Worry has been played over 50 000 times on German radio since its release. This marks ‘Don’t Worry’ as Madcon’s biggest radio hit in the important market yet.

Says Madcon’s manager Peter Peters of the recent success.

– All of us here at Icon Recordings are very pleased with the first part of the launch. We are now rolling out “Don’t Worry” in more territories. This week we start radio servicing in UK through Parlophone, and in July we take Australia and Canada.

It’s not just radio stations who love the new track. Don’t Worry is currently #16 on the European Itunes Chart, as it’s amongst top 20 in 11 territories. The song is yet to be released outside Europe and the UK, but dispite it’s limitid release Don’t Worry is #21 on music identification service Shazam’s Global Chart, and on Spotify alone, the track is nearing 22 million streams.

Don’t Worry peaked at #3 at the Official German Singles Chart. After nine weeks on the chart, the song is now currently at #13.
