Susanne Sundfør took home three awards for her latest album ‘Ten Love Songs’.

2015 was a spectacular year for Norwegian music and the anticipation was sky high before last week’ Spellemann awards. The wider Norwegian music industry gathered in Oslo for a night of glamour and celebration of the brilliant creative minds in Norwegian music.

The nights big winner was Susanne Sundfør who took home three awards for Ten Love Songs, an album that saw critics and audiences rejoice, stating it as a highlight of Sundfør’s already impressive career. The king of Tropical house Kygo was named ‘Spellemann of the year’ for his huge accomplishments in 2015. It was given to him by last year’s winners Nico & Vinz in Los Angeles where both artists are currently based. Kygo also won the award for ‘Track Of The Year’ for Stole the Show.
