Hanne Hukkelberg (b. 1979) is a singer, artist and composer, and presents music that draws elements from pop and jazz which she combines in an idiosyncratic, elegant, and often risky way. In addition to singing she also plays percussion, piano and guitar, and she is educated at the Music Conservatory in Oslo.
She made her debut as a recording artist with Cast Anchor EP, released on Propeller Recordings, a label which she has stayed with since. Her first album Little Things (2004) was also released internationally, and Hukkelberg has done a considerable amount of touring abroad since then. In 2006 she was awarded a Spellemann for Rykestrasse 68. Her latest album to date is Featherbrain in 2012.
