Born 1973. Award-winning composer and performer. Noise, acoustic music, free improvisation and vocal performance. Member of various groups such as SPUNK and Agrare. Has composed music for orchestra, opera, film, dance, and theatre. Worldwide concert activities and recordings. Studied composition at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Portrait concerts with her music have been heard in Toronto and Vienna and she has been Composer in Residence at festivals such as Other Minds, San Francisco, and Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival. Has received awards such as the International Rostrum of Composers in Paris for composers below 30 years of age, second prize at the Russolo Foundation, and was the first composer ever to receive the Norwegian Arne Nordheim prize.
