Motorpsycho has is one of the longest living and still active rock bands in Norway. Except from a couple of years in hiatus and a line-up change in the mid 00s, the band has consistently been touring Europe and Norway since 1991. Hailing from Trondheim, Motorpsycho has been frequently including local musicians on recordings sessions, which by now count well over 20 releases, live and studio albums combined.
The band has gone through several stylistic changes and is well known for the longitude of their concerts and their willingness to stretch songs and jam, in the vein of The Grateful Dead, Jon Coltrane and Black Sabbath, amongst others. The band has earned three Spelleman awards.
