Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra

Established 1919. Norway’s leading orchestra is a 107-piece ensemble which undertakes some 70 performances at home and another 20 on tour every year. Based at the Oslo Concert Hall, the orchestra tours overseas extensively. Recordings include 30 releases with former Chief conductor Mariss Jansons on EMI and Chandos, in addition to Norwegian label Simax.
