Truls Mørk’s reputation as a cellist of fierce intensity and grace has been built on performances throughout the world with the most distinguished orchestras. Recent European appearances have included concerts with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, and Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks. In North America he has worked with the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Chicago Symphony and Cleveland orchestras amongst others.
Conductor collaborations include performances with Myung-Whun Chung, Mariss Jansons, Gustavo Dudamel, Sir Simon Rattle, and Christoph Eschenbach. Truls Mørk plays on the rare 1723 Domenico Montagnana ‘Esquire’.
