Turbonegro

Turbonegro, or Turboneger in Norwegian, plays punk and hard rock influenced music, or death punk, as they label it themselves. Hailing from Oslo they became well known on the underground punk scene from the early 90s due to notorious live performances and well choreographed shock esthetics.

After massive touring internationally and emerging into the rock mainstream in Norway with album Apocalypse Dudes in 1998, the band split up because of the frontman’s heroin addiction. The reformed first in 2002 at the Hultsfred Festival in Sweden and started their second career successfully releasing several new albums and an increased following both in Norway and abroad. A new break was followed by forming again with a new singer, and continued touring Norway and abroad.
