Miami Music Week

Ørjan Nilsen, Fehrplay, Cashmere Cat and Patski Love & Chris Stallion set to perform at the Miami Music Week this week.

Running from 25 to 30 March, the Miami Music Week is one of the world’s most recognized electronic dance music events. Each year thousands of electronic dance music artists, DJs, performers and fans from across the globe flock to Miami to experience MMW.

For 2014, four Norwegian acts are confirmed for the event: Ørjan Nilsen, Fehrplay, Cashmere Cat and Patski Love and Chris Stallion. Below we’ve compiled showtimes and venue for all of our EDM ambassadors set to hit the decks in Miami over the next days.

Ørjan Nilsen

In the last few years he has been wow’ing audiences across the planet with his take on what a 21st century DJ and producer should be about. As a DJ, Ørjan Nilsen quickly established himself with an infectious blend of all things chunky and groovy, his energy and presence behind the decks has taken him around the world playing at some of the world’s finest clubs and biggest festivals, from Sao Paulo to Sydney and many places in-between. It has been a remarkable journey which resulted in recognition from industry heavyweights.

30.03 A State of Trance – New Horizons (Official Show)


Jonas Fehr, also known as Fehrplay, had a whirlwind 2013; a year which has put him on the map as a producer & DJ star of years to come. Since bursting onto the scene in 2009 with club bomb ’Meow’ on Ministry of Sound, Fehrplay’s sounds has matured with a new sophisticated funk ever present, but whilst still maintaining his trademark, epic cinematic film score-esque breakdowns. In early 2012, the then 24 year old producer signed to Eric Prydz’s legendary Pryda Friends label. It was a decision that would elevate his career to new heights as he joined the prestigious roster, which has featured some goliaths of dance music including Axwell, Paolo Mojo, Felix Da Housecat and Sebastien Leger. His music is receiving amazing support from a who’s who of dance music, with regular plays on Pete Tong’s legendary BBC Radio 1 show, and in the sets of everyone from Prydz, to Avicii.

Cashmere Cat

Magnus August Høiberg, best known under the artist name Cashmere Cat, is a Norwegian musician, producer and DJ/turntablist (representing Norway in the DMC World DJ Championships as DJ Final from 2006-2009). He appeared on the international electronic dance music scene in 2012, with remixes/edits of Lana Del Rey, 2 Chainz and Jeremih. His debut EP Mirror Maru was released in October 2012 on the Belgian Pelican Fly label. Cashmere Cat’s take on seductive R&B, futuristic hip-hop and bass music has gained support from major electronic music artists such as Hudson Mohawke and Rustie.

Patski Love and Chris Stallion

The careers of key Oslo-based DJs Patski Love and Chris Stallion spans a decade of packed venues in Oslo, courtesy of the duo’s wildly popular club night Juicy. For Miami Music Week, the two are set to recreate some of that Oslo magic at the Sunset Lounge with their trademark mix of Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, Disco and House.
