Ja Ja Ja to Berlin

Posted: 16. Jun, 2014

Having been staged with great success in London since 2009, the Ja Ja Ja Nordic club nights are now set for a Berlin premiere this autumn.

This autumn, the successful Ja Ja Ja Nordic club night gets a German subsidiary as the successful event is set to be staged in Berlin. Since, 2009, the Nomex-supported Ja Ja Ja club nights have been held at London’s The Lexington to great success.

Says Jonas Vebner, project manager for Ja Ja Ja Berlin and Head of Music Norway’s Central European Office – We have been working on this behind the scenes over a long period and finally, all the pieces have come into place. Ja Ja Ja Berlin is to be launched on Thursday 9th of October in collaboration with a veritable dream team of local German partners. We have great ambitions for the market and can hardly wait to get going.

Ja Ja Ja Berlin will be staged at FluxBau, media partner FluxFM’s very own venue by the banks of river Spree in Kreuzberg. Additional online-partners includes Nothing But Hope And Passion and Zitty Magazine.

Says Vebner: – It has been incredibly rewarding to follow the project from its humble beginning in a sketchbook into what is now one of our most successful and robust showcase platforms. A brand we can now export to new territories. jajajamusic.com is the leading international website for new Nordic music, and we have created a natural dialogue with fans worldwide. The Ja Ja Ja events are effective showcase venues for the performers, but also function as a veritable business card for international music industry and media that effectively displays the enormous breadth of new Nordic talent.

The first Ja Ja Ja Berlin club nights are confirmed for 9. October, 13. November and 11. December.
