Currently working on a follow-up to her critically acclaimed album ‘The Silicone Veil’, Susanne Sundfør announced this week that she will be joining Röyksopp on their global Do It Again tour.
Sundfør is scheduled to join Berge & Brundtland on stage for these the live dates:
26/06 Marymoor Park, Seattle WA
28/06 Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco CA

19/07 Latitude Festival, Suffolk GB
08/08 The Øya Festival, Oslo NO
09/08 Way Out West, Gothenburg SE

Susanne Sundfør has worked closely with Röyksopp in recent years, the most successful result to come out of this partnership is perhaps 2012’s ‘Running to the Sea’ EP.
Sundfør’s most successful outing to date is 2012’s ‘The Silicone Veil’, a follow-up to her critically acclaimed, platinum-selling The Brothel (2010), which spent 30 weeks in the Norwegian album charts and sold more than 40 000 copies.
‘The Silicone Veil’ contains melodies that hint of warmth and fullness, bound in multifaceted and complex soundscapes. The album lyrics, however, point in a different direction: towards despondency and the loss of illusions, faith and hope. They explore our inability to understand the difficult times we find ourselves in and appreciate the consequences of the lives we are leading, rather than denying them.
First single taken from the new album, “White Foxes”, was immediately well-received by critics, bloggers and tweeting fans globally.
Sundfør is currently working on her sixth album.
