Kid Astray premiere new single, ‘Taking you With Me’, and teams up with the CODA Agency – all within the same week.

A fitting soundtrack for the summer with its bouncy flowing summer pop, Kid Astray’s latest outing, single ‘Taking you With Me’ was premiered this week by Music Ninja who declared that the track ‘boasts influences ranging from M83 to Pet Shop Boys, which will surely going to take the blogosphere by storm.’

Ja Ja Ja is also doing a feature on the new strong Kid Astray track HERE.

The 405 joins in, writing: ‘Soon to be included the lengthy caravan of shimmering summer pop songs that’ll fit in any ambiguous late-night beach party is ‘Taking You With Me’. The stand-alone single from Oslo six-piece Kid Astray is unnerving and deftly sweet, ever-fitting for sunny drives and whatever else it is that teens do.’

Earlier this week, Kid Astray announced they’re teaming up with the UK’s CODA Agency, joining a roster that includes acts such as SOHN, Blood Orange, Grimes and Temples.

In May, Cosmos Music Group revealed that Kid Astray had inked a deal with one of the UK’s major managements, Big Life.

23rd of June sees the release of Kid Astray’s new EP ‘Taking You With Me’ and the band is set to record their debut album this summer.
