Enslaved – 2001 headliners back for Anniversary appearance
Enslaved headlined Inferno in its initial year back in 2001 and are now headlining 15 years later. Much has happened since then and the band has moved in a more progressive direction, earning them a loyal following at home and abroad. Enslaved started out in 1991 and has since then released a series of critically acclaimed albums and is widely regarded as one of the genre’s major Norwegian acts today.
The Inferno Metal Festival is staged every Easter in Oslo. More than 30 % of the audience is international. In addition to metal fans from all over Europe, and from more distant countries as the US, Argentina, Japan, India and Australia use their Easter holiday to visit Inferno.
The festival is also home to the Inferno Metal Conference, an industry program dedicated to the metal business, with speed meetings, panel debates, open demo listenings, instrument clinics and much, more.
