Anna Of The North (NO)

In June 2014, the Anna Of The North posted her very first demo on Soundcloud. Shortly after seeing the light of day, her debut single Sway has reached almost 200.000 plays.

DIY Mag, Ja Ja Ja, Oblivious Pop, Pigeons and Planes and Mostly Junk Food all picked up on the track rapidly which features Anna of the North’s uniquely delicate vocals set against a backdrop of dreamy synths and pulsating beats.

Wrote Ja Ja Ja: ‘Norwegian artist Anna Lotterud, who goes by the moniker Anna Of The North, may only be in her early twenties, but she has somehow managed to mine a depth of emotion far beyond her years. Anna has been creating an electrifying buzz in her home country with the posting of a few carefully chosen demos, which have mainly seen her collaborate with New Zealand born producer Brady Daniell-Smith.’
