Two new norwegians announced, and one of them will be playing at an ice rink at Berghain.

«CTM – Festival for Adventurous Music and Art» will in 2019 take place between the 25th of January and 3rd of February. The Berlin festival is considered as one of the most important arenas in Europe for experimental music, and especially for electronic music.

Confirmed Norwegian artists in this year’s program are Avant Joik (Maja Ratkje, Katarina Barruk and video artist Matti Aikio), Bendik Giske, Skatebård and SVANI.

The artists are not travelling alone
Our own Einar Idsøe Eidsvåg and Jonas Vebner will be traveling with Norwegian industry professionals to the pulsing German city. The festival offers a good opportunity to show what Berlin has to offer and introduce them to the scene there.

“CTM is one of Europe’s most interesting festivals for experimental, electronic music. The German and European industry are there, in addition to professionals coming from all over the world. This makes it a perfect showcase arena for Norwegian music, and also a unique opportunity for Norwegian industry professionals to establish relationships beyond the Norwegian border,” says project manager Einar Idsøe Eidsvåg.
