Here is an overview of what awaits us ahead

In 2019 Music Norway maintains its goal and mission to seek out and create meeting points, building networks and increasing our knowledge. Both in established and emerging markets for the Norwegian music industry.

Still keeping up to speed in the western hemisphere, in 2018 we showed Norwegian companies what China and Mexico have to offer, and we will still nurture our relationships and knowledge about these markets. In 2019, Brazil and India will be added to our mission.

Music Norway’s pit stops this year

Ja Ja Ja – London (UK)

The Ja Ja Ja train keeps on rolling in London, as it has been since 2009. Monthly you will have the opportunity to see what The Nordics has to offer.

Her you’ll meet: Henrik Sanne Kristensen (our new chief i London whileNina Finnerud is on her paternity leave).

Ja Ja Ja – Berlin (DE)

The same concept has been adapted to the German market, and in Berlin you can, also monthly, see artists from the Nordic countries before they hit the big stages.

Germans and Brits were in 2018 exposed to artists such as Fieh, Pom Poko, Hanne Mjøen, Great News, Datarock, Jimi Somewhere, Jakob Ogawa and Jesper Jenset. More Norwegian music awaits in Berlin and London this year.
