Reeperbahn Festival

Since the first edition in 2006, Reeperbahn Festival has grown into one of the leading showcase festivals and meeting spots for the music industry in Europe. The Norwegian industry and artists have had a strong presence there throughout the years.

A wide variety of events await fans, journalists and industry professionals in a variety of venues. Since its debut in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has become one of the most important meeting places for the music world.

In addition to the huge amount of concerts with international artists, the program also includes visual art and virtual reality formats as well as a thematically diverse selection of films and literature. The festival village at Heiligengeistfeld forms the central hub for the conference and networking. Within the framework of sessions, showcases, networking events and award ceremonies, visitors to the Reeperbahn Festival can listen to, rethink and experience music.

The dialogue between artists, audience and music industry is particularly visible at the Reeperbahn Festival Opening, which brings current music-relevant and socio-political themes to the stage with high-profile live acts and famous guests from music, entertainment and politics, or as the main partner of the Keychange initiative, which deals with campaigns for equality in music. ANCHOR - The Reeperbahn Festival International Music Award with its six-member jury serves as an award for young bands and artists on their way to an international career and as an orientation guide for fans and musicians in their search for the best new music.

The festival's partner country in 2022 was the USA.
