By:Larm announces their first line-up of artists for 2018.

By:Larm 2018 is right around the corner. The Oslo festival is an extremely popular arena for new artists to showcase their talent, and the by:Larm jury has listened through 1400 demo’s for next year’s festival. The first artist line-up is now announced. Check out the list and read what by:Larm says about the artists below:

Experimental pop at it’s finest. The three friends Sunniva, Teodora and Johanna are behing this band that has gotten international acknowledgement from outlets like Pitchfork and The Fader after only releasing two songs.

“Fy Faen, fy fy faen”. Ring any bells? The man behind one of the biggest summer hits has a few more songs up his sleeve, and is now ready to rule the world. And by:Larm!

Halie might only have one song out, but after her concert at Vill Vill Vest, NME named her as the festival’s best newcomer!

What started as a bedroom project, escalated so much that the project reached and moved legends such as Anton Newcombe (The Brian Jonestown Massacre) and Dennis Lyxzén (Refused).

Soaring but definite electronica wrapped in careful synths and soft chords.

Warm and hot pop about cheap travels, eternal summer and lost love – seen from a youthful girl fixated perspective.

Let yourself be tempted by the universe consisting of Konni’s emotional vocals, twirled in a soundscape of synths and extraordinary effects.

If you want to see a 19-strong female rap crew disrupt, spit and rap in your face, you should stop by their concert at by:Larm next year.

Imagine musical fun wrapped in a futuristic and kaleidoscopic soundscape. This is Superorganism.

Billie might only be 15 years old, but her Aurora-inspired pop music didn’t stop Vogue from describing her as «Pop’s Next It Girl».
