Four UK live market experts will share their know-how on touring after Brexit
Traditionally, the UK has always been one of Europe’s biggest, most important live markets. Touring there can open many doors as well as playing a significant role in breaking an act. In 2019, according to figures from stikk.no, almost 100 Norwegian acts played in the UK, but on January 31st the UK left the EU. To what extent will this affect European bands touring the UK, and of course UK acts touring Europe, on both a practical and commercial level?
This panel will offer an overview of the British live market, with a particular focus on Brexit’s implications.
Panel:
Alice Hogg (Booking Agent, ATC)
Géraldine Zanaska (Founder & Director, Compass Music)
Jamie Anderson (Promoter, Kilimanjaro Live)
Moderator:
Wyndham Wallace (writer)
Time & Place:
Thursday February 27th at 15.00-15.45 at Pokalen
