A new film documenting the story of Nordic disco are in its final stages, but needs your support.

So how did it happen that a disco phenomenon came out of the north of Norway? ‘Northern Disco Lights‘ from 7 Minus Media and Paper Recording will tells the interesting story of how a group of teenagers from a town in the Arctic north of the country called Tromsø decided to kick out the jams.

“Cut off culturally and geographically they set up a radio station, made synthesizers, threw parties and started to make the music that they wanted to hear. This turned out to be totally unique and original and reflected their environment and themselves.  It soon spread to the rest of the country.”

Head over to their Indiegogo page to read more about the film and give your support

We at Music Norway just gave our support, and highly recommend all other Nordic disco fans to do the same!
