Morten Lindberg wins Grammy

Sound engineer and producer Morten Lindberg was awarded “Best Immersive Audio Album” for the release “Lux”.

“Lux” is released together with conductor Anita Brevik, chamber orchestra Trondheimsolistene and Nidarosdomens Jentekor, with saxophonist Trygve Seim, Ståle Storløkken and Petra Bjørkhaug on organ. The album marks the 25th anniversary of Nidarosdomens Jentekor/Nidarosdomen’s choir of girls.

The Award was given at the 62nd edition of the Grammy Award, which took place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

Lindberg runs the sound studio, production company and record label 2L, which is currently up for 36 nominations. He is known for his “surround sound”, a larger, three-dimensional sound.
