The highlight of the year is getting closer. For the 17th time the premier pop and rock festival in Norway, Øya Festival, will take place in Oslo mid August.

Over 90 acts are set to perform during the four days and nights the festival takes place. Last year marked a banner year for the festival as they moved the entire festival to a new location in Oslo. Tøyenparken boosts several slopes and natural amphitheaters, making it an ideal site for the some ten thousand visitors.

Øya is an important arena for Music Norway. As a partner in the Øya International program, we connect export focused Norwegian players with key players from international music industry and press. We arrange several informal and formal gatherings and meeting places to facilitate networking and further cooperation.

This year some of the activities include B2B speed meeting, a boat trip out in the Oslo Fjord and a backstage area for called Mixed Zone for meetings and networking.
