Maya Vik lays down a fresh brand of sexy electronic funk pop with her steamy vocals and thumping bass lines. After independently releasing more than two albums worth of critically acclaimed material in two short years, Maya Vik currently gearing up for the release of her new 2015 album, starting with single ‘Fighter’ which has performed well since its January launch.
Farao is the pseudonym of London based, Norwegian singer Kari Jahnsen. Farao combines wistful melodies, lo-fi bumps and whistles and keyboards that quietly fizz against the backdrop of her murmuring, finger-picked guitar; all infused with a wondrous Nordic iciness. 2015 sees the release of her much-anticipated debut album, recorded on Iceland in autumn 2014.
