Six norwegian winners at the 2018 BMI London Awards

The BMI London Awards is hosted by Broadcast Music, Inc. one of four US performing rights organisations. The ceremony consisted of the following awards: The Million-Air Awards, Song of the Year, awards for Pop, Dance, Film, Television and Cable Television Music, and the Icon Award.

Anders Frøen (co-writer) and Stellar Songs (publisher, established by Stargate) was awarded Dance Song of the Year for “Stay”, as performed by Alessia Cara, the song also won iu the category 2018 London Pop Award Songs.  Stellar Songs also won another award in the latter category with “Too good at goodbyes”.
In addition four norwegian co-writers won in the 2018 London Pop Awards song category:

  • «Rockabye» with Ina Wroldsen (co-writer).
  • «New Rules» with Caroline Ailin (co-writer) and Waterfall Music (publisher)/Arctic Rights Managment.
  • «Now or Never» with Cashmere Cat (co-writer).
  • «It ain´t Me» with Kygo (co-writer).
