By Erlend Buflaten Posted: 20. Oct, 2017

The 2017 edition of Sørveiv takes place in Kristiansand, Norway November 10. and 11.

Today, Sørveiv announced its latest speakers to its two day conference in the south of Norway. The list of names includes President of IMPALA Kees van Weijen and New York Times Senior Staff Editor Alexandra Symonds and Dr. George Musgrave.

In a statement, Sørveiv says they are inviting speakers to “discuss experiences and issues prevalent in the live and recorded industries, as well as  engaging all of their participants in conversations broaching mental health, curation, music and identity, the destructive power of art and more”. And that all topics will be looked at “with two themes in mind: passion (which we all need in order to be a part of this industry), and failure (which we’ve all experienced, but rarely talk about)”.
