‘If you love big anthems, a sort-of exhilarated version of bands like Arcade Fire or Mew you will love these guys.’ Nothing but Hope and Passion – ‘Blind As Night’ review (4/5)

Says Fridthjof Hungnes of Propeller Recordings, Team Me’s label, on their ongoing winter/spring ‘Blind As Night’ promotional campaign:

– The gut feeling is definitely good! The album’s first single ‘F is for Faker’ has been playlisted on lots of European radio stations in Northern-Europe and the UK, and the next single, ‘Kick & Curse’, which is being released these days, has also been met with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Interest from fans and media alike is massive, proving that Team Me have built up a solid foundation, which they can continue to build upon.

Since their 2011 breakthrough with ‘From the Treetops’, Team Me have toured extensively at home and abroad, building up a loyal following in the process. Propeller’s Hungnes hopes to expand the band’s fan base over the next months:

– Naturally, we’re hoping that more people would get to experience what a fantastic live act Team Me is. From the outset, the band toured abroad extensively, building up a solid fanbase in many territories. It’s been a while since they’ve been on the road now – I think we’re in for a mutual, warm and very welcomed meeting between the band and the fans.

Team Me’s third album ‘Blind as Night’ was released in the UK, Europe and the US on Jan 26th. The album is distributed by RED (Sony) in the US, Proper in the UK, V2 in BeNeLux and Soulfood i GSA. Believe handles all digital distribution outside of Norway.

Team Me’s European winter/spring European tour and international promotional campaigns are supported by Music Norway.
