Todd Terje confirmed for Ultra Music Festival
Todd Terje joins the ranks of Röyksopp and Kygo as one of the confirmed headliners for Miami’s Ultra Music Festival. The festival, which coincides with the annual Winter Music Conference from march 27-29, ranks among EDM’s most important showcasing arenas and its 2015 edition features such major acts as Avicii, Eric Prydz, David Guetta, Afrojack and Armin van Buuren.
Cashmere Cat and Ariana Grande preview new song at tour kick-off
With Cashmere Cat as support act, Ariana Grande kicked off her ‘Honeymoon Tour’ in Kansas City earlier this week. In addition to performing her hits, fans were treated to a brand new song from the pop diva and Cashmere Cat. During his opening set, the DJ-producer previewed the untitled mid-tempo track, which Ariana hinted about on Twitter last month.
In addition to producing ‘Be My Baby’ for Ariana’s album My Everything, Cashmere Cat has written and produced songs for Ty Dolla $ign (‘Drop That Kitty’), Kid Ink (‘Body Language’), and Kanye West (‘Wolves’).
Spin Magazine also is running a major feature on the Cat this week, asking the timely question ‘Who Is Cashmere Cat?’, and are giving a nice run-down of the 27-year-old producer’s whirlwind career.
‘Runaway’ – Aurora debuts new video
Premiered via DIY Music this week, Aurora now has a stunning new video out for her strong track ‘Runaway’. ‘Runaway’ balances soaring vocals with erratic, sneaking verses; telling tales of climbing trees, painting pictures, and dancing in the rain. “Take me home, where I belong, I can’t take it anymore,” she sings, yearning for somewhere to feel rooted.

Commander in Chief with new classical viral hit vid
Seven-string phenomenon Commander in Chief has posted another impressive performance video that has racked up impressive YouTube figures since its launch on Wed this week. Alongside classical guitarist Craig Ogden, the Commander in Chief masterfully performs Camille Saint-Saëns piece ‘Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso’ on her trademark seven string electric. Impressive stuff that’s taken the Commander months of practice to master.
