Over 40 Norwegian delegates will attend Womex this year. Ranging from artists, labels, venues, organizations, festivals, promoters, agencies and media.

Scandinavian design with Balkan soul. This duo is intriguing, virtuous and fun - a travel size band with the energy and sound of an orchestra.

Almir Meskovic and Daniel Lazar each have more than 20 years of experience with both classical music and folk music. With their musical roots from the Balkans mixed with influences from different styles, this duo has a very special feature. By taking advantage of their knowledge of folk, classical and contemporary music, jazz, and improvisation and then mixing all these musical ingredients with elements from the cultures and backgrounds that they represent. They have ended up with something very authentic and intriguing. They incorporate all of these styles in a very strong and distinctive sound. The main motive is to keep the drive that music itself has developed over the centuries. They are both Master graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music and have had in course of their career successful collaborations and projects with established artists and institutions.
