André Jamal Ishak

André is our advisor for export and internationalisation, with particular responsibility for jazz and traditional music. At Music Norway, André is your go-to person for exploring international opportunities and establishing networks within jazz and traditional music. He loves to develop new collaborations and happily shares his network and his experiences with the industry.

He is trained in media studies and has worked for a number of years as part of and for Norwegian jazz, in addition to having a background in label management, DJing and musicianship, and a few years in the Norwegian advertising industry.
