Aslak Oppebøen

Aslak leads our projects in jazz and traditional music, in close collaboration with Norwegian and international industry organisations. Aslak leads delegations to international meeting places, and is responsible for the trade fairs Jazzahead and Womex, as well as following up international guest programs at Norwegian festivals.

Aslak participates in festivals and industry meetings at home and abroad, and has a large international network of festivals, industry and journalists which he is happy to pass on.

Within its areas of expertise, Aslak runs several competence programmes, and works closely with the entire Nordic region in the Nordic Folk Alliance network.

He is also responsible for IT, develops and maintains digital tools in Music Norway.
