Tone Østerdal

Tone served as Managing Director of Music Norway from 2022 to 2025, and transitioned to a part-time position as Senior Policy Advisor in 2026 due to health reasons. Tone has more than 20 years of experience in the arts and cultural sector, with extensive work in politics, leadership, organisational development, and strategic processes. She also has broad experience in board work and was a member of the government-appointed Music Committee, which delivered Norway’s first official public inquiry into the music sector in spring 2025.
