Michael Hill is music supervisor for film and television. Recent projects have included the Oscar-nominated Netflix feature, The White Tiger, Peacock's Dr. Death, Amazon's Modern Love, Showtime's The Affair and HBO's Divorce. Upcoming projects include the return of Showtime's Dexter, the Apple TV series Pachinko and The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, and the Hulu true-crime series The Girl From Plainville. Michael was nominated for a 2019 Grammy Award for the Ladybird soundtrack. He also won a 2018 Guild of Music Supervisors Award for Ladybird and was nominated again in 2019 for How to Talk to Girls At Parties and in 2021 for the series finale of The Affair. Prior to his career in music supervision, Michael spent fifteen years in the A&R department of Warner Bros Records, where he scouted talent and worked with a wide range of artists in the recording studio, including the alternative rock legends The Replacements. Michael has been to Oslo twice and wishes New York City had a high-speed airport train too.
