The annual festival in Denmark has for more than 27 years played a central role in giving space to new talent and new music. This year, SPOT takes place on 5 and 6 May, and 14 Norwegian artists will take on the stages in the heart of Aarhus. The Norwegian artists performing are: Beharie, Darkowa, Enilora, Michelle Ullestad, Kamara, Lav Sol, Marekvist, Niilas, NINV, Ramon, Rise Above, Sei Selina, Selma French and Skaar. In addition, 25 Norwegian industry delegates will be at the festival.

The festival is one of Scandinavia's most important meeting places for the Danish and international music industry, with both conferences and showcases spread over 23 venues across the city.

On Friday 5 May from 4 - 5 pm, Music Norway is organizing a "Meet the Norwegians" reception in collaboration with NRK P3 Urørt and SØRF (the regional music office in Kristiansand). Several Norwegian artists have performed at SPOT over the years, including Hedda Mae, Lüt, Hanne Mjøen, Combos, Tuvaband, Cezinando and Hajk.
