Showcase Scotland is an industry event, part of the Celtic Connections Festival - Glasgow’s annual folk, roots and world music festival. Norway is partner country in 2024.

The following six selected artists get a unique opportunity to showcase themselves in front of 200 of the most influential bookers and industry professionals in Europe. Additionally, they will perform a concert at Celtic Connections, which runs concurrently with Showcase Scotland and is one of the largest folk music festivals in Europe, attracting over 130,000 attendees over 18 days.

The project is a collaboration between FolkOrg and Music Norway, supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The partnership agreement spans three years, during which we work closely with the organizer to achieve the maximum impact and visibility both before and after the focus year.
