Anton Teichmann has spent his career at the heart of Germany’s independent music scene, working across labels, artist management, PR, booking and live music. In this keynote, he offers an insider’s guide to the German market: how the industry is structured, where the opportunities are, and what international artists and music companies need to know when trying to establish themselves in Germany.
Teichmann has worked with indie labels including Sinnbus and Morr Music, as well as Initiative Musik and Sound Diplomacy. In 2015, he founded Mansions and Millions, later named Best German Label at the VUT Indie Awards. He also co-founded artist management company A-Okay and continues to work across different parts of Germany’s independent music sector.
