Music into the world
"Music into the world" is an export program meant to contribute with capital and expertise to publishers, management for producers and songwriters, as well as commercial studios with international growth ambitions.
The program aims to strengthen the participating music companies' international competitiveness and contribute to an increased supply of jobs and talents. The goal is that more industry professionals abroad begin using Norway as a starting point for their music productions.
The program is intended as a driving force for companies that are in a growing phase, and offers capital and expertise for a limited period of time.
The eight Norwegian music companies currently included in the program are:

MER Group
Ocean Sound Recordings
Propeller Management
Selective Management
Warner Chappell Music Norway
What can we finance?
The grant funds should mainly be used for purchase of necessary competence. The amount is limited to NOK 800,000. The costs can be:
Financial and legal advice
PR & marketing expertise
Trademark protection / IPR
Travel as a result of work with export
Product websites
Mentor
Other relevant costs
The program is implemented by Innovation Norway on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with Music Norway.
